Safety Basics

Safety Basics is a series of six self-paced courses that provide a brief introduction to the top health and safety concerns for workers in continuing care. Upon completion of all courses, learners will be issued a certificate of completion.

2. Violence in the Workplace
3. Musculoskeletal Injuries
4. Slips, Trips, and Falls
5. Infection Prevention
6. Personal Protective Equipment

Suggested Use: The Safety Basics curriculum may be used by employers to help meet their health and safety obligations. It can be taken by new staff as part of their onboarding or by current staff as part of their regular health and safety training.
